AmritaVPN (amvpn) is an easy-to-use virtual private networking tool that allows two private IP networks to be seamlessly connected together through a public network such as the Internet. AmritaVPN does not require any kernel-level changes and is a fully userspace program. It uses SSL for strong encryption of transmitted packets and authentication of end points. The latest version as of this documentation's date is 0.99 (STABLE). AmritaVPN is an open source work of Amrita Research Labs.
